Our research methodology is based on action research and experimental research. We are often involved in the planning, implementation, reflection and identification of learning in the projects we are doing research on. We often set up and conduct experiments in everyday life situations. Our scientific method vary from each research project. However, we normally use a mix of action research and experimental research and uses both qualitative and quantitative tools.
A large part of our "desk research" consists of literature studies in creativity, physiology, psychology, sociology and knowledge. We are also interested in gaining a continuously deeper understanding of the fundamentals of tantric yoga, meditation and theatresports and other practices that relates to unlimited application of knowledge.
When we involve in a project it is usually in order to satisfy our curiosity towards gaining further understanding of unlimited application of knowledge. We believe that research based on the engagement in the practitioners world provides important input to other existing/future research that studies the same phenomena using other methods. We also believe that there is a unique possibility for understanding of practice in situations where a major change is taking place. Therefore action research, where the researcher both engage in planning, implementation, reflection and identification of learning, is very interesting seen from a scientific perspective. Some of the phenomena that we are trying to understand does not exist in pure forms in everyday situations. To conduct research on such phenomena experimental research is needed. We always try to conduct experiments in everyday situations so that the external validity remains high.
The result of an action/experiment usually have diverse output but often includes:
- Development of materials, tools and publications ready for use and delivered in an open-source form that makes it free and easily accessible for practitioners
- Learning for practitioners who are indirectly, directly involved or just interested in the actions and experiments that we engage in
- Scientific publications published in book form or in journals
We want to develop practical and scientific contributions to all interested in or working with unlimited application of knowledge. We are always interested in dialogue with other researchers that might be able to strengthen research in the unlimited application of knowledge for individuals or groups.
